Well over 130 employees work for NPZ at Hohenlieth. During high season in the summer, these employees are supported by about 120 additional temporary workers. The agricultural area covers about 130 hectares. Another 100 hectares are leased as nurseries as part of respective crop rotations. Usage agreements have been made with surrounding farms with regard to additional areas.

Malchow / Island of Poel

In Malchow on the island of Poel, 90 members of staff are working for NPZ and are supported during the season in the summer months by about 30 temporary workers. The breeding business cultivates 426 hectares which is divided into eight crop rotations with five to ten individual crops, respectively. About 85 hectares of the total area are used as nurseries on an annual basis. In addition, another 1,400 hectares on the island of Poel are used as farm land.
