BALANCE: Attractive combination of yield, quality, and health.

With the new registration of the linseed variety BALANCE, an efficient alternative to the established variety BINGO is available. Building on its agronomic basis, the brown-seeded BALANCE has been further developed in several key points. Particularly notable is the higher oil content combined with a high grain yield, which leads to a significant increase in land efficiency - an economically important factor for cultivation and processing. In addition, BALANCE is less susceptible to mildew, which reduces the need for plant protection and makes crop management easier. The improved stability also contributes to a reliable harvest. The synchronised ripening of grain and straw is a further advantage, which makes it easier to plan the time of harvest and significantly eases threshing.
